Creativity in TV commercials has always been a crowd-puller. The great filming, superb storylines and imaginative content are often enough to persuade the viewer to just tune in for the commercials.

There are so many wondrous bite-size videos out there spread across sharing sites such as YouTube, Dailymotion and Vimeo, I thought I'd share with you 5 of my creme-de-la-creme commercials that somehow seem to be a cut above the rest. Get your popcorn and coke ready. Cameras...lights...action.....

If only it was really like this? Just for a few moments we become transformed into a business world packed with fun and excitement. A great gadget commercial.

2. American Express – Conan Ryan

Moving over to India. It keeps you wondering from start to finish. I was curious to know how it's going to end which simply means it keeps our attention. A piece of filming that cleverly linked up the launch of this comedian's new TV show. Funny. Witty and a clever piece of marketing.

3. Gaming isn't just for little kids! – PS3

This spicy short commercial explains exactly what a SonyPlaystation should be all about. Passion. Rivalry and tonnes of emotion.

4. Never underestimate the power of a good story! – Canal +

Dodging bullets, jumping down a waterfall, falling trees – it's got it all. The next time you have to make an excuse – think of this to add a touch of inspiration to your story.

5. Good things come to those who wait – Guinness

It's true! As always, Guinness has strived to become one of the forefront leaders of beer commercials. Not only will this inspire you but equally, you'll have a mini-history-geography lesson (in less than a minute).
