Dvojica NASA-inih astronauta, Victor Glover i Michael Hopkins izašli su iz sigurnosti Međunarodne svemirske postaje kako bi obavili nužne poslove održavanja na vanjskoj strani postaje. Tijekom svemirske šetnje koja je trajala gotovo sedam sati, uspješno su servisirali komunikacijsku opremu i opremu za hlađenje, ali i počastili gledatelje jedinstvenim pogledom na postaju i Zemlju iz perspektive astronauta.

Astronauti koji su boravili na Međunarodnoj svemirskoj postaji do sad su izveli ukupno 237 svemirskih šetnji u trajanju od 62 dana 3 sata i 54 minute, tijekom kojih su održavali i zamijenili dotrajalu opremu na postaji.

At their worksite, @AstroVicGlover & @Astro_illini work to vent an ammonia jumper cable, relocating & reconnecting it to another part of the lab for increased efficiency.
